SpeedFerries operates the all year, low cost, fast ferry car service between Dover and Boulogne. This service is the fastest ferry crossing on the Channel - just 50 minutes.

The Dover-Boulogne route is also the most direct ferry service from Britain to France. SpeedFerries is the only ferry operator out of the port of Boulogne. Consequently, there is never any heavy traffic blocking the harbour and SpeedFerries' customers can quickly and easily enter and exit from the port area and connect to the auto link road leading straight onto the main A16 and entire French motorway system.

SpeedFerries - fast ferry service now departs daily from the new terminal in Dover's Western Docks, known as the Hoverport.
The new Hoverport is positioned conveniently closer to the M20 and away from the ever long queues of lorries making it even more easy to reach France. SpeedFerries have also made some improvements to the Boulogne terminal where you can now park right next to the ferry and the Gare du Terminale. With both ports connecting straight to major motorways and a sailing time of just 50 minutes you can cross the channel quicker than ever before!

Furthermore you can now enjoy priority check-in and priority lanes for customers using SUPER Vouchers and relax in the new premier concept facilities onboard.

SpeedFerries won the "Best European Crossing Operator" award in 2005 at the UK Telegraph Travel Awards just 18 months after the service was launched in May 2004. This award features the biggest annual survey of the British travelling public. In 2006 SpeedFerries won another award. SpeedFerries received the "Best Ferry Operator" award at the Guardian, Observer and Guardian Unlimited's Travel Awards 2006. The award is based on comprehensive independent research.

SpeedFerries' wave-piercing catamaran "SpeedOne" accommodates 200 cars and 800 passengers. SpeedOne is a passenger car and motorcycle ferry only - no coaches, lorries or foot passengers. Accordingly, SpeedFerries' lounges, sundeck and shops as well as the bar and café are all spacious and with plenty of tables and seating available.

Book PremierClass - For That Extra Speed, Service and Comfort. PremierClass offers you priority loading whereby you can be on your way immediately after SpeedOne docks. PremierClass also includes reserved seating at the top deck with direct access to the sundeck. You will receive service at your seat, a complimentary newspaper as well as a free hot or cold drink and a pastry - fresh from a local bakery in Boulogne.

SpeedFerries has officially been approved to carry animals under the Pets Travel Scheme and is able to offer transportation for cats and dogs on the Dover - Boulogne fast ferry service. If your pet is eligible to travel under the Pets Travel Scheme, it can be included in your SpeedFerries booking for an additional cost of £ 15 per pet per crossing.

All pets must be declared prior to travel for both voyages to and from the UK.
